OCSO employee arrested for battery

OCSO employee arrested for battery

An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) employee was arrested for battery on December 2.

According to the arrest report, Sergeant Collin Renee Savoie allegedly pushed the victim on the neck/throat with an open hand. The victim reported being pushed twice: first, causing the victim to fall into the door frame, and second, into the glass on some French doors.

Sergeant Collin Renee Savoie admitted to a verbal argument but denied any physical contact. However, the victim had redness on the neck and near the jawline, consistent with being pushed, according to OCSO.

We were told that Savoie has worked with OCSO since 2018, but we do not know the status of his employment at this time.
