An Ohio trucker crashed his rig on Interstate 75 in Sumter County after a tire blew out.
The 30-year-old from Columbus, Ohio at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday was traveling northbound on I-75 near Milepost 321 when the vehicle experienced a blowout of the left front tire, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver lost control, entered the median and struck the guardrail, as well as a concrete median barrier.
The driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
