An Okeechobee County school bus crashed while transporting high school students on Monday morning.
According to the Okeechobee County Schools’ Facebook post, Bus 2 crashed on its morning route at Highway 70 West and 128th Avenue.
Officials said that there have been no reports of life-threatening injuries; however, several students have been transported to Raulerson Hospital out of caution.
Authorities are urging families to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to respond.
The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) said that they are investigating the crash.
