One man is dead and another injured in a shooting Sunday night, the Plant City Police Department announced.
Officers responded to the 1800 block of East Warren Street around 9:30 p.m. in regards to a shooting.
When officers arrived they located a man dead inside a vehicle and another man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm.
The man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
“Our department is working tirelessly and utilizing all available resources to determine what happened and bring those responsible to justice,” said Chief Richard Mills. “We are also keeping the victim’s family in our thoughts during this difficult time.”
PCPD said investigators are asking residents in the area to review security cameras for footage that could assist in the investigation.
