One dead, two injured in a crash near Inglis

One man was killed and another two were seriously injured in a car crash just north of Inglis Saturday night.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a truck and an SUV were involved in the crash around 11:30 p.m.

They say the SUV’s driver pulled out onto US Highway 19 right in front of the truck.

The truck hit the vehicle, killing the SUV’s driver and lighting it on fire.

A passenger in the SUV and the truck’s driver were taken to the hospital.
