They say the crash occurred near the intersection of U.S. Highway 301 and Northeast 116th Avenue at 11:30 a.m.

According to FHP, the driver of the first vehicle, a 41-year-old woman from Jacksonville, was traveling southbound when she failed to negotiate a curve and veered into the northbound lanes, colliding head-on with a second vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
