A rolled-over car required extrication Friday morning by the St. Lucie County Fire District.
Emergency responders crowded around the crumpled vehicle with their tools off Veterans Memorial Parkway with a stretcher on the ground nearby. Once the car’s occupant was successfully freed, they were airlifted to a nearby trauma center, the department said.
Photos provided show the individual being wheeled towards to the helicopter. No further updates on their condition were available.
