One person hospitalized after Collier County crash.

One person was taken to the hospital after a crash in Collier County on Wednesday night.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a crash around 10:59 p.m. along Pine Ridge Road and Goodlette-Frank Road.

One person was injured and taken to NCH Downtown.

CCSO states they do not have any information on the extent of the injuries.

A black sedan was crushed and falling apart at the scene.

It is unknown if the driver was trapped inside the car or what caused the crash.

The eastbound lanes of Pine Ridge Road were completely blocked but have reopened.

CCSO is investigating the crash.
