A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday evening, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.
Troopers stated around 7:15 p.m., the motorcyclist was heading westbound on Trawick Creek Road in the Holt area. They said a car was facing eastbound on Trawick Creek Road and began turning left onto Belgium Run Road.
Troopers said the driver of the car did not notice the motorcyclist passing, and the two crashed.
Officials who responded to the crash said the motorcyclist, a young man from Holt, was thrown off the motorcycle and was killed. They said the car driver, a young woman from Crestview, was not injured in the crash.
