The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Monday.

According to a news release, the incident happened about 10:20 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 20 and Solomon Street in Bristol.

The Florida Highway Patrol troopers said there were three trucks involved.

One pick-up driver heading east tried merging in front of another. His rear bumper was clipped by the other truck, causing it to spin around and cross over the center line, troopers said.

The first truck then collided with a 3rd truck heading west, driven by a Bristol man.

Troopers said there were two people in each of the first two trucks, all were from Panama City.

Four people suffered minor injuries, and one is in serious condition, FHP troopers confirmed.

The crash is under investigation.
