One taken to hospital after car slams into Cape Coral condo

One person was taken to the hospital after a car hit a parked vehicle before slamming into a condo in Cape Coral overnight.

The accident happened at the Pelican East complex along Cape Coral Parkway and Pelican Boulevard.

Gulf Coast News crews on the scene said there was damage to part of the wall posts on the condo, a sign and a fire hydrant.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and the car was towed.
