The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said that one woman died after crashing into a pickup truck.
The woman was driving west on Rutland Rd. in the left turn lane approaching the intersection of US 301.
A male driving a pickup truck was heading north on US 301 in the right lane, near the intersection of Rutland Rd.
FHP said the woman drove through a red light.
Shortly after the pickup truck hit the left side of her car.
FHP also said the woman had a serious injury and was transported to an area hospital where she died.
FHP is still investigating this crash.
