One woman dead, another with serious injuries after Levy County crash

One woman is dead and another has serious injuries after a crash in Levy County Friday night.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say around 11:45 p.m., a 62-year-old woman from Bronson was driving a pickup truck north on County Road 337.

A 73-year-old woman from Michigan was driving a pickup truck southbound on the same road.

Troopers say the 62-year-old drove her vehicle into the southbound lanes for an unknown reason, and struck the truck driven by the 73-year-old woman.
