Officials responded to a house fire in Orlando on Saturday evening to find flames had fully engulfed the residence.
Firefighters arrived at the 800 block of Emerald Lane to find heavy smoke and flames. Crews were able to quickly put out the fire before it could cause any additional damage.
The owner was displaced from the home, and their dog did not survive the fire, according to the Orlando Fire Department.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
