Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office investigating shooting in San Marco Villas community

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that it is investigating a shooting.

The sheriff’s office said its deputies were notified Tuesday night that a man suffering from gunshot wounds was dropped off at a local hospital for treatment.

The sheriff’s office was able to determine that a shooting occurred in the 700 block of Venice Circle within the San Marco Villas community.

On Wednesday morning, the sheriff’s office said the victim, 19-year-old Quantavis Bellamy, was pronounced dead. The sheriff’s office is investigating the shooting as a homicide.
