A tragic single-vehicle accident on Interstate 95 in Flagler County claimed the life of an 18-year-old woman from Palm Coast on Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at 7:48 a.m. on the northbound exit ramp leading to Palm Coast Parkway. Tragically, the young woman lost her life at the scene.
Preliminary details from the ongoing investigation suggest that as she was driving north on the exit ramp, she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to veer off the road. The car subsequently collided with a light pole and a tree.
