Panama City Beach house fire on Lakeview Circle

A fire broke out shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday on Lakeview Circle in Panama City Beach.

News 13 has a reporter on the scene.

They spoke with officials who say the fire has been put out, and one person has been hospitalized.

Three adults were in the home at the time of the fire, and two of the residents are fine.

They were able to rescue several pets, including five dogs and one possum, but a cat died in the fire.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is still underway.

Panama City Beach Fire Rescue, Bay County Fire Rescue, US Navy Fire Rescue, and Panama City Beach Police Bay County EMS are all currently on scene.
