Details from an early morning traffic crash on Saturday that turned fatal.
Panama City Beach police say at around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, a 40-year-old man was found near Thomas Drive.
They say preliminary signs show the man was on a motorcycle going at a high speed.
They believe he ended up veering off the road into the power pole.
The man died on the scene after life-saving measures were performed, and an investigation is still ongoing.
