Pedestrian dies after getting hit by car in Bradenton crash, troopers say.

A pedestrian was fatally hit by a car early Tuesday morning in Bradenton.

The driver was traveling north on 15th Street East, south of 63 Avenue when a 47-year-old Sarasota man was crossing the travel lanes at about 6:05 a.m., according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. The front of the car collided with the man, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by FHP.
