A pedestrian is fighting for their life following an incident with a train near Phipps Park in West Palm Beach on Sunday evening.
The West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) said that officers responded to the scene near the intersection of Norton Avenue and Puritan Road around 6 p.m.
Upon their arrival, police reported finding an individual near the train tracks who had sustained life-threatening injuries.
Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment, per WPBPD.
