Pedestrian hit, killed on Nova Road in Port Orange; clues sought

A 37-year-old man was struck and killed Wednesday in Port Orange, police said.

The fatal wreck happened around 9:45 a.m. in the 3400 block of Nova Road.

Port Orange police said officers were called to the area for a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Police said the pedestrian, identified as Joshua SeeSholtz, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Details about the crash were not released.
