Police are investigating a vehicle-pedestrian crash that left one person critically injured Wednesday, authorities said.
According to Davie police, officers arrived to find a pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries. The individual was taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
Traffic Homicide Investigators were called to the scene, and northbound lanes of North University Drive near the 3500 block remain closed.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
