A pedestrian-involved crash caused lane closures of a busy road in Inlet Beach, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
WCSO deputies were reportedly on scene of the crash around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Reports said one vehicle and a pedestrian were involved.
Authorities said all westbound lanes of Highway 98 were shut down near Orange Street in Inlet Beach. Drivers should expect delays in that area, but officials did not give a time estimate for how long the lanes are expected to be closed.
WCSO officials requested, to protect the loved ones of those involved in the crash, for the public to not release descriptive information of the crash or those involved.
