A 68-year-old woman from the city of Alachua was killed after being struck by a sedan Friday afternoon, state troopers said.
The crash happened on County Road 241 near Northwest 83rd Lane shortly after 3 p.m on Friday.
Troopers said a 22-year-old woman from Jacksonville was driving the car.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
