A pedestrian was killed by a vehicle in a crash on US-41 at Terrene Court in Bonita Springs Monday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol said it is investigating the crash. Troopers said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

FHP said that a Chevy Silverado, being driven by a 20-year-old Fort Myers man, was traveling north on US-41 on the inside lane, south of North Bay Village Drive at around 7:45 p.m.
The pedestrian, a 55-year-old Estero man, was crossing from the east shoulder of US-41 to the median, south of North Bay Village Drive, while carrying a bike.
The Silverado then crashed into the pedestrian, killing him, FHP said.
The crash remains under investigation.
