Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash in northwest Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade police are investigating a crash Friday morning that left a pedestrian dead.

According to Detective Angel Rodriguez, the crash was reported at 2:49 a.m. in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 132nd Street.

He said officers arrived at the scene and found the victim – an adult male. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.

There is no subject vehicle nor any additional information at this time,” Rodriguez said in an email to Local 10 News. “The MDPD’s Traffic Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation.”
