Pedestrian struck in hit-and-run on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee

A hit-and-run crash is under investigation Thursday morning in Osceola County, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

The crash happened around 6:55 a.m. on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway at Target Boulevard in Kissimmee.

The FHP said preliminary information shows that an unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian, who was taken to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital.

Video from the scene showed an Osceola County sheriff’s cruiser, but no other details have been released.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call FHP or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
