Panama City police have confirmed that a pedestrian traffic crash happened a little before 9 o’clock this evening near the intersection of Highway 98 and Mound Avenue.
Panama City police say that the pedestrian was hit by a red pickup truck in a turn lane on Highway 98. The truck was not traveling very fast.
The pedestrian fell and hit his head on the pavement, and EMS took him to the hospital as a precaution to check him out.
Traffic homicide officers are collecting evidence just in case.
