A resident was displaced after a house fire broke out on Monday morning in Pensacola.

Officials say the incident happened at 705 West Brainard Street around 9:45 a.m.

The fire was out and under control by 9:49 a.m., according to officials.

No Pensacola Fire Department personnel were injured.

Smoke alarms were not present in the home, according to officials.

The Red Cross has been notified, and the PFD Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
