A Pensacola home caught fire on Tuesday evening.

The Pensacola Fire Department says they received a call around 3:45 p.m. for home on fire at Arriviste Way.

According to the department, all residents made it out safely. No one was injured. Escambia County EMS was on scene for standby.

Although an official cause has not been determined, the department says it appears that the fire may be related to a lightning strike.

Upon their arrival, crews say they saw a heavy fire volume. Fire was seen moving rapidly through attic. The roof is now gone due to the fire.

Crews worked to protect other exposed homes. The department says nearby homes were not damaged.

The department say the fire was under control by 5 p.m.
