Pensacola man charged with DUI manslaughter after fatal crash in Escambia County

A 33-year-old Pensacola man was arrested for DUI manslaughter on Monday morning after a crash that resulted in the death of a passenger in Escambia County.

Troopers say the incident occurred around 5:56 p.m. on Sunday when AK was driving on State Road 173 Blue Angel Parkway and his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with two southbound vehicles.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a passenger in one of the southbound vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

K was arrested at 1:58 a.m. and is being held in Escambia County Jail with no bond.
