Pensacola man dies in two-vehicle crash in Escambia County

A 47-year-old Pensacola man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Escambia County on Sunday.

Troopers say the incident occurred around 10:50 a.m. when the man, driving a Dodge Charger westbound on W Hayes Street, failed to stop at the intersection with N T Street.

The Dodge collided with a Ford F150 truck driven by a 74-year-old Pensacola man traveling northbound on N T Street, according to FHP.

The driver of the Dodge was transported to Baptist Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Two of the Ford pick-up truck driver’s passengers, a 72-year-old Pensacola man and a 65-year-old Pensacola woman, sustained serious injuries.

The driver of the Ford pickup truck has minor Injuries.
