Fire rescue crews estimate over two dozen people are being treated after pepper spray was used during a fight at a Florida high school.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was called to Lake Worth High School at around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday for an incident “involving a fight and pepper spray.”
A PCBFR spokesman said a total of 44 fire rescue and private ambulances responded to the school. As of around 2 p.m., a total of 32 students and faculty members were taken to four hospitals.
Approximately 10-12 students were assessed at the school before they were picked up by family members.
School resource officers were sent to each emergency room.
No additional details were provided about the incident.
