A person was hospitalized after a car crashed into The Ivy apartments in downtown Fort Myers.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, detectives are working a traffic investigation that ended on Fowler Street between First and Second Street.
Our crews on scene saw the damage caused by the vehicle at The Ivy apartments, as well as pieces of car strewn across the road.
One person was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
LCSO says this remains an active investigation at this time.
