An electric scooter rider was hospitalized after they were involved in a collision with a car in Plantation early Friday, officials said.
The incident happened in the area of Peters Road and Southwest 75th Avenue, Plantation Police officials said.

Plantation Fire Rescue officials said the person on the electric bike was hospitalized with head injuries.
Aerial images showed the electric bike on the ground next to a white sedan that had a shattered windshield.
No other information was immediately known.
