A driver is expected to recover after a fiery crash on I-75 early Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers say the single-vehicle crash happened just before 6 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-75, just before the Highway 484 exit.
Investigators say a driver was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when their car left the interstate and crashed into a fence.
After the impact, the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the driver was taken out of the car and transported to a local hospital with injuries. The driver is expected to recover.
Part of the right lane and shoulder were blocked off while FHP worked to clear the crash.
All lanes of I-75 have since reopened.
