A person was killed after the Florida Highway Patrol says they lost control on an overpass, drove off of it and landed in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75.
It happened at 10:06 a.m. in Sumter County on Friday morning. The person was driving on CR-462.
Traffic was detoured at County Road 484. FHP said the southbound lanes are back open.
