The St. Petersburg Police Department said a person was stabbed multiple times near a Burger King on Friday morning.
Police said the person, who was not identified, was stabbed near the restaurant’s parking lot on Central Avenue.
They were taken to a hospital. Their condition is not known. Photos from the scene show several St. Pete police cars parked near the restaurant’s drive-thru lane.
Officers said a suspect, who was only identified as an adult male, was taken into custody a block away from the scene. They didn’t release any other information about the suspect.
No other details were immediately available.
