Pinellas County: 67-Year-Old Motorcyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Crashing Into F-150

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that happened on Tuesday between a pickup truck and a motorcycle.

On Tuesday, at approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded to Park Street North and County Road 16 in Seminole to investigate a motorcycle vs vehicle crash.

According to investigators, 16-year-old Nicholas Montecalvo was traveling southbound on Park Street North, in a 2021 Ford F150.

At the same time, 67-year-old David Lindholm was traveling westbound on County Road 16, where he stopped his 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the stop sign.

As Montecalvo entered the intersection of Park Street North and County Road 16, Lindholm attempted to cross Park Street, striking the driver’s side of Montecalvo’s vehicle.

Lindholm was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and in critical condition.

Next of Kin has been notified of his injuries, deputies say.

According to investigators, impairment appears to be a factor in the crash.
