Police: 1 injured in Lauderhill stabbing

Lauderhill, Florida – Lauderhill police are actively investigating a recent stabbing incident that unfolded in the early hours of Wednesday, leaving a man injured and authorities searching for answers.

Reports indicate that the stabbing took place at approximately 2:40 a.m. within the 5300 block of Northwest 24th Street. The incident triggered a swift response from law enforcement after receiving reports of a physical altercation that resulted in one individual being subjected to a stabbing.

Upon their arrival at the scene, officers discovered a man who had sustained a single stab wound in the flank area. Subsequently, the victim was transported to Broward Health Medical Center to receive medical care for injuries classified as non-life-threatening.

Notably, the alleged suspect responsible for the altercation had vacated the scene by the time the police arrived, as stated in a news release from the police department.
