Police: 42-year-old woman on moped dead after hit by car in overnight Pensacola crash

A 42-year-old woman is dead after an overnight crash in Pensacola.

Police say the woman was riding a moped on Lakeview Avenue at E Street around 11:30 p.m. when she was hit by a car.

She was pinned under the car, according to police. Emergency personal worked to free her but she later died.

Police are still investigating.
