Police are investigating a shooting in Sarasota on Sunday.
Sarasota Police said the shooting occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the 1800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Way.
Once on scene, police say they discovered the body of an adult man who they are working to identify.
The area is closed while the investigation is ongoing.
