MIAMI — A woman riding a motorcycle was critically injured late Wednesday night in a hit-and-run crash in Miami, police confirmed.

According to police, the crash was reported at 11:37 p.m. in the area of Northwest 37th Avenue and West Flagler Street.

Police said officers arrived at the scene and found a woman in her mid-30s unresponsive in the roadway.

A tourniquet was applied to the victim before Miami Fire Rescue transported her to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, authorities said.

Police said the driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene.

No other details were immediately released.
