Port Orange man dies in crash with disabled vehicle on I-95 in St. Johns County

A 52-year-old Port Orange man died when he crashed into a disabled vehicle Friday morning on I-95 in St. Johns County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal wreck happened around 10:30 a.m. on I-95 north at mile marker 321.

The FHP said the man was driving a car north on I-95 in the left shoulder/emergency lane and struck the back of a disabled vehicle that was unoccupied.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, the FHP said.

No other details have been released.
