A woman is accused of intentionally crashed her vehicle into another woman’s car in Port St. Lucie on Sunday.
It’s unclear what the relationship between the two women is; however, the arrest report from the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) states that on the day of the incident, the victim stayed the night at the suspect’s grandfather’s house.
The report continues, the victim was getting gas at the RaceTrac gas station when she noticed the suspect’s vehicle, a white Jeep, pull into the parking lot. The victim said that when she saw the suspect’s vehicle, she ducked down to hide in her car with the doors locked.
The suspect, identified as SK, was then seen leaving the parking lot of the gas station. That’s when the victim drove out of the RaceTrac gas station, but she noticed that K was following behind her on Port St. Lucie Boulevard. The arrest report says that when she pulled onto SW Del Rio Boulevard, K rammed into her from behind.
The victim pulled into Cumberland Farms, where K and the victim got into a verbal altercation. That’s when K, 27, caused damage to the victim’s driver’s side rear-view mirror.
Officers spoke to a witness who said that K punched the driver’s side rearview mirror, jumped on the hood and began to punch the windshield several times. The witness told officers that when rescue units arrived at the scene, K fled.
Due to the visible damage to the victim’s car and witness statements, K was arrested and booked on counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
