Report: Pensacola woman confronts man at work, shoots at him

 A 28-year-old Pensacola woman is charged with shooting at a man at his work business in Escambia County.

Malyka Cole was arrested Monday afternoon on these domestic violence charges:

  • battery
  • aggravated assault
  • weapon offense

The incident happened at Tibbetts Lumber on W Michigan Ave.

According to the report, Cole arrived at the business and started arguing with and hitting a man before other employees separated them. She then grabbed a gun from her vehicle, shot at the man and left the scene.

The report states video showed employees running away after Cole grabbed the gun.

No one was injured.

Deputies located Cole a short time later and took her into custody. She’s being held in Escambia County Jail on $5,000 bond.
