Reported fight ends in deadly shooting investigation in Tampa

Police are investigating after a shooting left one person dead Sunday afternoon.

According to the Tampa Police Department, officers responded to a reported fight on River Willow Place shortly after 1:15 p.m.

Officers arrived and found one person who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the shooter remained on scene and cooperated with investigators, who are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

No arrests were announced.
