A fire involving multiple vehicles broke out Thursday afternoon in northwest Miami-Dade, sending thick black smoke into the air and prompting a response from fire rescue crews, authorities confirmed.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said units were dispatched to reports of a vehicle fire near the 12300 block of Northwest 154th Street.
Crews worked to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby vehicles or structures.
Sky 10 flew over the scene, where heavy black smoke was seen rising above at least two burning vehicles.
MDFR officials confirmed that were no reported injuries.
Investigators said they’re working to determine what sparked the fire, but they did not say how many vehicles were involved in the blaze.
