Roads blocked after SUV crashes with semitruck in Fort Myers

A crash between an SUV and a semitruck caused backups on Monday morning in Fort Myers.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, the crash happened at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Michigan Avenue Link.

All westbound lanes were blocked as FMPD cleared the scene in about 30 minutes.

FMPD said there were minor injuries.

A tow truck was at the scene working to remove the white Jeep lodged under the tractor-trailer.
