Pasco County Fire Rescue said a roofer was seriously injured while working at River Ridge High School on Wednesday morning.
The worker reportedly fell approximately 20 feet from one section of the roof to another, PCFR said.
First responders quickly made it up to the roof to stabilize and secure the injured roofer in a stretcher.
Crews then used the fire truck’s crane to lift the victim off the roof and gently lower them to the ground, where medical personnel were waiting.
PCFR said the worker was then taken to the hospital for treatment. They did not provide any details about the age or gender of the worker or their current condition.
